Our Parish Prayer Intention

During Lent, you are invited to join your voice with all
St Vincent voices as we pray daily for our Parish Prayer Intention (below).  Please pray this often.

That we would prayerfully set aside the time we need to accompnay the Lord Jesus contemplatively in prayer through the liturgies of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, the Easter Vigil of Holy Saturday night, and Easter Sunday.

Divine Mercy Sunday

On Divine Mercy Sunday, April 11, we invite you for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Benediction beginning at 3 PM in the Church.  Please join us for this special devotion to our Lord’s Divine Mercy.

Divine Mercy Sunday is celebrated annually on the first Sunday after Easter, this year, April 11.  On this day, a Plenary Indulgence is available.  This indulgence removes all temporal punishment due to forgiven sin and can be applied to one’s self or to anyone who is deceased.  Learn more about the Divine Mercy Sunday Plenary Indulgence at diocesefwsb.org/divine-mercy-sunday

“...the Indiana bishops hereby extend the dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of obligation beyond 1 November 2020

Certain Masses and other liturgies at St. Vincent de Paul Parish are video livestreamed via the internet.  By virtue of your attendance at these Masses or liturgies you give St. Vincent de Paul Parish permission to have your image incidentally appear in these livestreams and recordings thereof.  St. Vincent de Paul Parish will not focus or concentrate on individual worshipers out of respect for your privacy, but cannot preclude your incidental appearance in the background or in
wide angle shots of the Sanctuary.  Should you have a good and valid reason your image cannot appear in these livestreams, please visit the Church Office for advice on places to sit that will not appear on camera.  Thank you for your consideration.
